Mini LCS, revived and reinstated in 2024 after a 7 year hiatus, is a community-driven League of Legends tournament circuit boasting two major events each year and an abundance of minor events featuring other Riot Games (2xko, TFT, etc).

Starting out in 2014, the Mini LCS started as a London based community tournament attempting to replicate and parody the European League Championship Series (as it was called at the time, having since rebranded to LEC). Since the event’s revival in 2024 The Mini LCS has committed to bringing high quality, original & comedic content to its viewers and players, still aligning with our parody roots, whilst also providing a fun, engaging & competitive environment for players to take part and try their hands at a competitive experience they just can’t find within the League Client.

The current iteration of The Mini LCS splits into two major tournaments that each come with three individual brackets – The Summer Invitational that runs between June & August and the Winter Open that runs between January & March. These two events break down further into three individual brackets to try and ensure the most balanced competition for all levels of play.

The first and lowest tier of play available is the Weenie Hut Junior bracket. This bracket services players all the way from Iron to Low Platinum, and is the entry point into our competitive system. We refer to it as the “Content Bracket” and it definitely delivers on that moniker, bringing some of the most chaotic gameplay and cinema matchups.

The second and for all intents and purposes “middle” tier of play is the Hardstuck bracket. The unique selling point and mantra for Hardstuck is to allow players to be able to play with the widest array of teammates whilst maintaining a competitive level of play, so this means that this bracket is available to players all the way from Low Platinum to Low Master (0-150LP). The teams are beholden to a point cap that limits teams from stacking several players significantly above the average level within this bracket, which is designed to be High Emerald.

The final tier of play intended for the best of our community is The Sweatlord bracket. This bracket is intended for the 1% of the playerbase that have been breaking backs in Solo Queue and have climbed their way up to those apex tiers of play. The closest the Mini LCS may ever get gameplay wise to the actual LCS, The Sweatlord bracket continues the lineage of our original Championship, and is considered the biggest accolade one can achieve in the Mini LCS.

At its heart, The Mini LCS is built on the belief that there should be an environment for players at all levels of play to come in, find some friends, and come enjoy something that is evocative of the pro player experience. Playing in a team, seeing your name on stream as the commentary team crafts a narrative around the match at hand and make everything feel like a big deal along the way. This is the service we provide at Mini LCS, and we hope to continue providing it for years to come.
